what a weekend...

The snow is finally gone (knock on wood.) :) Things are starting to get green and the fields are absolutely beautiful! Nathan and I went for a mini vacation on Saturday (we called it a "vaca") to get out and find more reasons why so many people have summer homes in Red Lodge, MT. We made a giant loop, going along the Chief Joseph byway into Cooke City, then into Yellowstone National Park, and up through Mammoth Springs and Gardiner to Livingston and then back to Red Lodge. We were gone for 11 hours. We were very tired when we got back, but it was a full, rich day. Here are some pictures to highlight what we saw:
